Quantitative Psychology PhD Student @ UNC Chapel Hill
Hi! My name is Jen. I am a Quantitative Psychology PhD student at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill working under the advisement of Dr. Patrick Curran. I also work with Dr. Andrea Hussong in the Family Journeys Co-Lab. Prior to my studies at UNC, I completed my undergrad and masters at William & Mary, working closely with Dr. Danielle Dallaire.
My research sits at the intersection between quantitative methods and developmental psychology. I am interested in the development and evaluation of longitudinal methodologies used in developmental studies, especially those pertaining to risk and resilience in the first three decades of life. My substantive focus is on the development of substance use and other delinquent behaviors. My ultimate goal is to serve as a bridge between the quantitative and developmental areas in psychology.
